Uniting complementary medicine in Atlantic Canada.

mission - vision - values

ACMAAC's purpose is to unite all dedicated Health Care Practitioners and to strive for professional excellence for the benefit of the public's health and safety. Click here for our CODE OF ETHICS.

All members of ACMAAC are practitioners in complementary medicine. We are dedicated to the health and wellbeing of our patients.

ACMAAC is affiliated with the China-Beijing International Acupuncture Training Centre (CBIATC). The CBIATC  was set up in 1975 at the request of the World Health Organization (WHO) and with the approval of the State Council. Under the leadership of the Chinese government, WHO and the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS), it has developed into an authoritative organization of acupuncture training that is well known in the world.

Our continuing education includes distance courses in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from CBIATC. Members Dr Fronie LeRoy and Dr Mary Lou LeRoy are the North American liaisons to this World Health Organization training centre.
